Hello everyone👋👋👋 Today is the 21st of November. Our practice is continuing. Today was extremely wonderful day. Because we visited to the palace of the emir of Bukhara. It was a very beautiful place that I've been visited.  I find this place is very interesting. So I was interested in the history of that complex. We learnt a lot of information about that palace. The construction of the palace began in New Bukhara on August 14, 1895 by order of Amir Syed Abdulahad Khan, and was built in 1898. The designer of the palace was Alexey Leontyevich Benois, the engineer Dubrovin was in charge of the construction, Bukhara and Russian craftsmen built the building. The palace, with its many towers, domes and columns, is eclectic, built in a Neo-Moorish style that combines Baroque and Empire. In addition to the usual European style, Arabic motifs are also used in the design. There are different versions of the purpose of building the palace. according to one of them, the emir ordered a palac...

Gavkushon Madrasah

Hi everyone !!!  Today is the 20th of November.  Today, we went to the Gavkushon Madrasah.  We learnt a lot of information about the Madrasah.  Gaukushan Medressa and its complex were a less crowded photogenic area. Turki Jandi Mausoleum was a crumbling structure that gave tourists what most of Bukhara would look like without the constant restoration work. Just off the central tourist attractions of the trade domes. A very interesting place. The pond/ tank is where they sacrified a cow to find water. Reminiscent of the Zarthusti fire worshippers or Aryans of India and Persia. While most history in Uzbekistan talk of Timur or later, the land is far older. Govkushon complex - an architectural monument in Bukhara (16th century) a complex consisting of a madrasa, mosque, tower, pool and palace built by Khojabor Khojas (Govkushon - butchers' market). Between the madrasa and the mosque is the Shahrud stream. The pool was buried in the 1930s. the eastern side of the ...

Hello to everyone👋👋👋 Second day  ✨ Today is the 14 th of November and second day of our practice. As usual, we visited another lovely place in Bukhara. The sun was shining in the sky and the temperature was moderate. Today we gathered at 10:30 a.m in the Ark fortress. After entering the Ark, we experienced enjoyable advanterous. There are great places that we haven't seen before.  The Ark of Bukhara is a massive fortress located in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan, that was initially built and occupied around the 5th century AD. In addition to being a military structure, the Ark encompassed what was essentially a town that, during much of the fortress's history, was inhabited by the various royal courts that held sway over the region surrounding Bukhara. The Ark was used as a fortress until it fell to Russia in 1920. Currently, the Ark is a tourist attraction and houses museums covering its history.[1] The museums and other restored areas include an archaeological museum, th...

Hello to everyone 👋👋👋 First day✨ Today we started another great week of adventures in our first semester. Today weather is a little cool and our journey was started at 10:30 a.m.  Today, our marvellous destination is Nogai Caravanserai.  After our visit here, we got a lot of information about this historical  monument. I'm gonna share some of them with you... 😊  The Nogai Caravanserai, built in the 1720s during the reign of the Shaybanids. This modest-sized caravanserai has a pleasant stone paved, tree-strewn courtyard surrounded by forty-five-odd room which once served as temporary quarters for traveling merchants and caravan men.  The Nugai Caravanserai is an extremely interesting place for travelers who want to see Bukhara in all its glory. First, it should be noted that a caravanserai is a luxury kind of a hotel for caravanners. “Serai” is translated as “palace”, and such a name was worth the buildings. Traders had money, and entrepreneurial wealthy peop...
