Magoki Attori Mosque

Day 2

Magoki Attori Complex.

Our second practice day was held at Magoki Attori Complex. It is one of the oldest mosques in Bukhara.





Mogaki Attar Mosque was built in the 12th century during the rule of the Karakhanids. It is located to the west of famous Lyabi Khauz square.  Its construction is associated with the Arab sheikh Qutayba Ibn Muslim. The madrasa was named Magoki Attor because it is located in a pit and is near the Attor market.




In 1541, Bukhara Khan Abdulaziz Khan wanted to destroy the mosque, because by that time the mosque had sunk to the ground and the front part of the facade was partially destroyed, but Naqshbandi Sheikh Mahmudi Azam prevented it.



Ozoda, Sevinch and Marjona introduced us to the information about the mosque. We learned from them what we didn't know. 



We were given information about the mosque and our knowledge increased. Thus, our second practical lesson has come to an end. It left a special impression on each of us.

Day 5. Said Po Bandikusho mosque. Hi everyone!!! Today is the 24th of May, fifth day of our practice. Today we visited Said Po Bandikusho mosque. As usual, we gathered at 10:00 and teacher checked our attendance for today. After that we started to give information about the monument one by one. Today Feruza, Malika, Marjona gave a lot of information about the mosque.  The "Said po Bandi Kusho" Friday mosque is located on Xorazm Street in the city of Bukhara. It is named after Hazrat Said Abulhasan, who passed away in the year 1004. He is descended from Hazrat Imom Hasan and has a lineage of nine generations.   Day 12. Bahauddin Naqshbandi shrine. Today is Tuesday April 18.    The   third week is the second day of our practice. Our destination today is the shrine of Bahauddin Naqshbandi, and we gathered there.  Khoja Bahauddin Naqshband is one of the most famous saints of the Islamic world, the founder of the Naqshbandi order. He was born in March 1318 AD in the village of Qasri Hinduvon, Kogon District, Bukhara Region. He is also popularly known as Bahauddin, Bahauddinjan, Khoja Bahauddin, Bahauddin Balogardon, Balogardon, Khojayi Buzruk, Shahi Naqshband. Khwaja Bahauddin Naqshband's original name is Muhammad.  Bahauddin complex - hazira complex near the tomb of Sheikh Bahauddin Naqshband (Bukhara region, 16th century). Day 4. Boboyi Porado‘z mausoleum. Hi everyone!!! Today is the 23rd of May, fourth day of our practice. Today we visited Boboyi Porado‘z mausoleum. As usual, we gathered at 10:00 and teacher checked our attendance for today. After that we started to give information about the monument one by one. Today me, Samiya, Malika, Feruza, Mohitobon and Oysara gave a lot of information about the mausoleum.  The Boboyi Poradoz Mausoleum (Uzbek: Boboyi Poradoʻz maqbarasi) is a monument of architecture in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The mausoleum was built in the 19th century and is located behind the Salakhona gate. Today the mausoleum is located opposite the Ibn Sina Library of Bukhara. The mausoleum is included in the National List of Objects of Material Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan of Republican Importance.
