Sitorai Moxi Khosa Complex
Day 11.
Sitorai Moxi Khosa Complex.
First of all, hello to everyone🙋🥰.
I want to talk about our practice
today. Our destination today is
Sitorai Moxi Khosa Complex.
This complex is very beautiful
and rich in scenery. We met
peacocks there and watched
them.
We got some information about
this Complex. According to the
data, four kilometers north of
Bukhara there is a wonderful and
unique palace. At first glance, you
will not notice that it is the
residence of the Emir of the East
or the Prince of the West. Why do
you say that the reason is that the
emir of Bukhara, Amir Said
Olimkhan (1911-1920), who
belonged to the Mangit dynasty,
lived in this palace. Unfortunately,
the emir's fate changed when
Russian troops invaded Bukhara.
Amir was forced to leave his
luxurious palace and flee to the
Kingdom of Afghanistan. In the
same place, Amir died. in his time,
Amir had everything: gold that
mysteriously disappeared, a royal
life, many awards, wives and
dozens of concubines, and of
course, a magnificent residence.
The residence of Sitorai Mohi
Khosa is divided into two parts :
old (oriental style) and new
(European style). the old palace
was built in the 18th century. The
new complex was built by Amir
Said Olimkhan at the beginning of
the 20th century. Not only the
best architects of Bukhara, but
also Russian architects were
involved in the construction of
the palace. therefore, the external
and internal appearance of the
palace is similar to the residences
of Russia and European countries.
The palace is divided into two
parts for men and women. On the
way to the Amir Palace, the first
thing you will see is the
luxuriously decorated gate. This
gate, made in a way that is not
typical of the architecture of
Central Asia, will surprise you
with its red and dark red
decoration. means there is a pond
in the middle of the settlement.
In contrast to the hot weather of
Bukhara, the climate of the
settlement seems transparent.
The exterior of the palace is
decorated with decorative
ornaments; fences with
decorative vases are placed on the
edge of the roof. one side of the
building is decorated with a porch
arch. The porch is decorated with
pillars and its decorations are
made in elegant turquoise colors.
two lion statues are placed in one
of the ceremonial entrance doors
of the palace for protection. The
interior of the mausoleum will
attract you with its luxury, beauty
and decorations. wall pictures, the
colors radiating from them
attract attention and you can't
take your eyes off this beauty.
Among the interior rooms of the
palace, there is a summer room
with its stained glass windows, a
wide-walled kitchen, a ministerial
reception hall and a large white
hall with glass walls. The walls of
the hall are artistically decorated
and it looks very luxurious. the
amazing beauty of the rooms was
realized by master Shirin
Murodov and Hasanjon, masters
and decorators of Bukhara. Each
pattern is the personal skill of the
artist.
The palace was decorated in the
European and oriental style of
that time. in the rooms you can
see the unique beauty of the
mirrors decorated in the Venetian
and Japanese style; colorful
decorations and mosaics, many
art objects, jugs and sculptures,
Bukhara carpets, magnificent
hanging lights and antique
furniture are used as
complementary decorations.now,
many luxurious interior
decorations have become
exhibits, and Amir's residence
outside the city has become a
museum of applied art.
Sitorai Mohi Khosa is 6.7 ha and
consists of an old palace, 3 brick-
paved courtyards and many
rooms. The Amir Muzaffarkhan
Hotel here is distinguished by its
wide, tall hall, balconies with
balconies on both sides, and
European doors and windows.
Abdulahad Khan's room, which is
divided into three parts and
forms a murabba-shaped room, is
connected by a high platform
between 2 halls, which are placed
opposite to each other and are
decorated in the same way. The
royal throne is placed on the west
side of the platform. the main
residence of Amir Olim Khan in
the east of the old palace - a
magnificent arched gate was
installed in the new palace. The
arch above the gate is made in a
form not typical of Central Asian
buildings, its sides are glazed,
covered with dark red, blue,
yellow and light colored tiles.
Along with traditional syrkor
rivets, tile coverings imported
from Russia were also used. The
upper part of the gate is
decorated with vase-shaped
decorations. the two-tiered
wooden gate is carved with
national motifs and reinforced
with copper flower nails, and an
elegant floral zulfin is installed.
We learned a lot about our
destination today. Apart from the
cold weather, our practice was
great.
See you again next blogs.😍✨❤
