Pridastgir Mosque.

Hi everyone!!! Today is the 22nd of May, third day of our practice. Today we visited Pridastgir Mosque. As usual, we gathered at 10:00 and teacher checked our attendance for today. After that we started to give information about the monument one by one. Today Malika, Samiya, Jamila, Feruza, Mohitobon gave a lot of information about the mosque. 


Hazrat Shaykh Sayyid Muhyiddin Abdul Qadir Jilani was born in the year 1079 AD (471 AH) in the village of Bashir in the Jilan province of Iran and passed away in 1166 AD (562 AH) in the city of Baghdad, Iraq.

Jilani initially received his education from Abu Zakariya Tabrizi. At the age of sixteen, he went to Baghdad, where he studied the sciences of theology and hadith under prominent scholars such as Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad, Abul Qasim ibn Ahmad ibn Bayan, and Abu Talib ibn Yusuf. He studied Islamic jurisprudence under Ali ibn Abu Sa'id Mukhrumi, from whom he also received his cloak of Shaykhhood.

Upon returning to Baghdad, Abdul Qadir Jilani taught at a madrasa. He delivered sermons and educated students for thirty-three years. Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani is the founder of the Qadiriyya Sufi order and is known for promoting the idea of "engagement and detachment" (being engaged with the world while the heart remains detached from it).

Jilani authored numerous works on Islamic history, Sufi theory, ethics, and etiquette, including "Kitab al-Bashara al-Khayrat," "Kitab al-Ghunya," "Kitab al-Fath al-Rabbani wal-Fayd al-Rahmani," "Kitab al-Futuh al-Ghayb," "Kitab al-Faydhat al-Rabbaniyya," "Maktubat Jilani," "Sirr al-Asrar Mahzar al-Anwar," and "Al-Kunya li Talib Tariq al-Haqq."

His tomb is located in Baghdad, Iraq. The shrine in Bukhara is a symbolic tomb of Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani and is called "Piri-Dastgir." With the blessings of independence, this shrine has been restored and a new mosque has been built.




Today was very enjoyable. Along with learning some information about a historical mosque, we also visited it. It was one of our unforgettable days.

Day 5. Said Po Bandikusho mosque. Hi everyone!!! Today is the 24th of May, fifth day of our practice. Today we visited Said Po Bandikusho mosque. Today Feruza, Malika, Marjona gave a lot of information about the mosque.  The "Said po Bandi Kusho" Friday mosque is located on Xorazm Street in the city of Bukhara. It is named after Hazrat Said Abulhasan, who passed away in the year 1004. He is descended from Hazrat Imom Hasan and has a lineage of nine generations. He was a scholar and spiritual leader in the Shariat and Tariqat traditions. Hazrat Said Abulhasan's spiritual mentor was Hazrat Ja'far Kholdi, who was a disciple of Hazrat Junayd Baghdadi.   Day 12. Bahauddin Naqshbandi shrine. Today is Tuesday April 18.    The   third week is the second day of our practice. Our destination today is the shrine of Bahauddin Naqshbandi, and we gathered there.  Khoja Bahauddin Naqshband is one of the most famous saints of the Islamic world, the founder of the Naqshbandi order. He was born in March 1318 AD in the village of Qasri Hinduvon, Kogon District, Bukhara Region. He is also popularly known as Bahauddin, Bahauddinjan, Khoja Bahauddin, Bahauddin Balogardon, Balogardon, Khojayi Buzruk, Shahi Naqshband. Khwaja Bahauddin Naqshband's original name is Muhammad.  Bahauddin complex - hazira complex near the tomb of Sheikh Bahauddin Naqshband (Bukhara region, 16th century). Day 4. Boboyi Porado‘z mausoleum. Hi everyone!!! Today is the 23rd of May, fourth day of our practice. Today we visited Boboyi Porado‘z mausoleum. As usual, we gathered at 10:00 and teacher checked our attendance for today. After that we started to give information about the monument one by one. Today me, Samiya, Malika, Feruza, Mohitobon and Oysara gave a lot of information about the mausoleum.  The Boboyi Poradoz Mausoleum (Uzbek: Boboyi Poradoʻz maqbarasi) is a monument of architecture in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The mausoleum was built in the 19th century and is located behind the Salakhona gate. Today the mausoleum is located opposite the Ibn Sina Library of Bukhara. The mausoleum is included in the National List of Objects of Material Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan of Republican Importance.
