Modari-Khan mosque.

Hello everyone!!!

Today is the 30th of May, ninth day of our practice. Today we visited Modari-Khan madrasah. We gathered at 10:00. Then teacher checked our attendance first and we started to give information about the mosque one by one.

Today Feruza, Malika and Samiya gave information about the complex. According to the information, The Modari-Khan Madrasah forms a single ensemble with the Abdullah Khan Madrasah in Bukhara. The complex is called the Kosh Madrasah, which is translated as “double madrasah”. The Modari-Khan was dedicated to the mother of the ruler, and its name can be translated as “the mother of the Khan”. It may have been a “first attempt” in complex construction, but this building is smaller than the other building in the ensemble. The Abdullah Khan Madrasah built in the honor of Abdullah Khan II whose reign was a true golden age for beautiful Bukhara was built later and became a prominent creation of the architects of that time. 

However, construction of the Modari-Khan was performed at a high level of quality, which is confirmed by the mention made in the manuscripts of the court chronicler. 400 years later, restorers confirmed once again that the building is solid and will stand for a very long time. The madrasah was a traditional task — it was an academic institution for educating youth in the spirit of national and religious traditions. A complete education obtained in a madrasah opened the door to different future for a person. That was why each family tried to send at least one child to madrasah to study.

It was wonderful days for us. Because we got a lot of information about it through visiting the madrasah.

Day 5. Said Po Bandikusho mosque. Hi everyone!!! Today is the 24th of May, fifth day of our practice. Today we visited Said Po Bandikusho mosque. As usual, we gathered at 10:00 and teacher checked our attendance for today. After that we started to give information about the monument one by one. Today Feruza, Malika, Marjona gave a lot of information about the mosque.  The "Said po Bandi Kusho" Friday mosque is located on Xorazm Street in the city of Bukhara. It is named after Hazrat Said Abulhasan, who passed away in the year 1004. He is descended from Hazrat Imom Hasan and has a lineage of nine generations. He was a scholar and spiritual leader in the Shariat and Tariqat traditions. Hazrat Said Abulhasan's spiritual mentor was Hazrat Ja'far Kholdi, who was a disciple of Hazrat Junayd Baghdadi.   Day 12. Bahauddin Naqshbandi shrine. Today is Tuesday April 18.    The   third week is the second day of our practice. Our destination today is the shrine of Bahauddin Naqshbandi, and we gathered there.  Khoja Bahauddin Naqshband is one of the most famous saints of the Islamic world, the founder of the Naqshbandi order. He was born in March 1318 AD in the village of Qasri Hinduvon, Kogon District, Bukhara Region. He is also popularly known as Bahauddin, Bahauddinjan, Khoja Bahauddin, Bahauddin Balogardon, Balogardon, Khojayi Buzruk, Shahi Naqshband. Khwaja Bahauddin Naqshband's original name is Muhammad.  Bahauddin complex - hazira complex near the tomb of Sheikh Bahauddin Naqshband (Bukhara region, 16th century). Day 4. Boboyi Porado‘z mausoleum. Hi everyone!!! Today is the 23rd of May, fourth day of our practice. Today we visited Boboyi Porado‘z mausoleum. As usual, we gathered at 10:00 and teacher checked our attendance for today. After that we started to give information about the monument one by one. Today me, Samiya, Malika, Feruza, Mohitobon and Oysara gave a lot of information about the mausoleum.  The Boboyi Poradoz Mausoleum (Uzbek: Boboyi Poradoʻz maqbarasi) is a monument of architecture in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The mausoleum was built in the 19th century and is located behind the Salakhona gate. Today the mausoleum is located opposite the Ibn Sina Library of Bukhara. The mausoleum is included in the National List of Objects of Material Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan of Republican Importance.
